ABOUT
Dr. Brad Zehring founded the Zehring Clinic with a desire to deliver expert psychiatric treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring illness. Throughout Dr. Zehring’s training he has seen the gaps and lack of psychiatric care available for individuals with eating disorders. With advances in technology, both video and audio capabilities, Dr. Zehring can reach patients throughout their communities in the United States.
Dr. Zehring believes the psychiatrist needs to understand the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual causes that contribute to creating and maintaining an eating disorder. Dr. Zehring believes that the psychiatrist needs to be able to speak the same language, in regards to an eating disorder, as the clinical team which includes the individual’s therapist, dietitian, and other physicians.
Dr. Zehring is, also, the CEO and co-founder of Arizona Restorative Psychiatry (AZRP). AZRP is an outpatient psychiatric clinic that treats all mental health disorders and specializes in the comprehensive care of eating disorders and co-occurring disorders in Gilbert, AZ.
In addition to his outpatient work with eating disorders, Dr. Zehring has treated patients with eating disorders at every level of care and held national leadership positions at these facilities. He is currently seeing patients at Within Health an intentionally created virtual platform that treats patients with eating disorders at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care across the United States.
Dr. Zehring’s approach to psychiatric care is centered on a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental space where patients feel understood. Dr. Zehring has a passion for understanding how nutrition, movement, and relationships impact the overall wellness of his patients. Dr. Zehring seeks to provide highly individualized and evidence-based treatment engaging the patient in a conversation about their well-being.
